"From what I remember it was really late at night and I was bombing out in the studio for hours trying to make something hot. I remember stumbling across the sample and getting struck with that first chord. The beats I most enjoy making I don't really seem to remember making - I guess that's what they call being in the zone? You almost know what the track is going to sound like before you even start making it. I had this drum break I'd been dying to use for weeks and somehow the sample seemed to fit perfectly on it when I chopped it and I kinda just geeked out on it for half an hour.

I didn't give this beat to my rappers when I made it - I normally send beats to Biggs and Ty as I make them - but with this one I knew I had to wait for the right artist. Enter Maite. This girl is everything a producer looks for in a vocalist; a unique voice anyone will recognise when they first hear it, natural funk, concentration, and she works fast - she was able to rework a poem into this song in about an hour. Sessions as natural as those don't come along too often, and when you've made as many tracks with as many people as I have you don't get to reflect on the talent that you get to work with. This girl is hip-hop, funk, soul and rock and roll all in one. Thank god for music, I'm blessed to be able to work with these artists." - Hardcore Hustle 

Hardcore Hustle is an underground music producer based in Sydney, operating out of Arthur Street Studio's in Homebush. He has been making beats for five years and producing records for three, all whilst studying a politics degree, driving for acts such as Bone Thugz 'N' Harmony & Mobb Deep and working as an audio engineer.

His style has been described as strictly underground and analogue; drawing on samples ranging from jazz, funk and even Bollywood. His primary influences are Quincy Jones, RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Madlib and Dr Dre.

Primarily serving as the producer for the rap group 'RBT', Hustle, along with rapper BIGGs and singer/songwriter BIG Ty have maintained a unique integrity in today's game, steeped in hip-hop tradition. Their upcoming debut, 'Counterfeit EP' coming soon. 

He has also produced for various artists such as VITA (X Factor Australia), Cult Shøtta, Poetik (Auckland), Elijah Yo, Pistol Pete & Enzo, Maite Inae (The Big Ilch) and King Dead (Freesouls).

From her roots in Brazil listening to Bossa Nova, Samba, Forro & born into Capoeira Brazil, it's music, culture and arts to Latin Rhythms, Funk, Soul & Jazz to Reggae, Dubs and Hip Hop this Sydney Based singer/ songwriter found herself surrounded by like minded people who greatly influenced her music. 
Maite's sound could simply be described as a fusion of her experiences and passions.
