His love and passion for House music grew into a variety of styles throughout his musical journey. Influenced by the sound of New York, Montreal & Romania, he developed a unique taste that blends minimal, deep, groovy, tribal and soulful.

Luna was part of Majid’s journey and had a presence that touched his life in many ways. It feels right that this moment took place on the 'Luna Stage' at Soundscapes Zanzi, a space that now carries even more meaning and depth. 

Majid played this set with his heart, channeling emotion, memory and love into every beat. 

This is for Luna, the moments that remind us of her and for all the souls we carry with us through music

That Groove

Saudi selector and LYMM co-founder, Majid has become integral in the Middle East community. He has grown in tandem with cultural happenings in Saudi Arabia and further afield where appearances at the likes Club der Visionaere, Studio Stereo, Soundscapes, Fabrika Festival, and closer to home, the Beast House series are becoming the norm for Majid. 

Having performed at our last two Saudi editions alongside Beast House, Majid exemplified the deeper aspects of house and techno while still keeping things fresh. We couldn't wait to welcome him to our mix series and he has delivered a recording that doubles down on the impact of these live performances. Shimmering deep house bleeds effortlessly into dub flecked percussive numbers, and with the mix peppered with attitude soaked vocals this mix slaps as much at dawn as it does at dusk.
