Amoss - Stay At Home Festival

Bristol based DJ and producer Majix unearthed her love of electronic music in her early teens. Since discovering electronic music she has always enjoyed listening to a wide range of genres, however, drum and bass is what captivated her.  From the intricate and finer details in percussive elements and leads to the dark rolling or bouncy bass lines, she doesn’t miss a trick.

Being heavily influenced by many drum and bass artists on labels such as Critical, Overview, Hospital, Shogun, Integral and Fokuz to name a few, she has in recent years leaned into darker styles of drum and bass and 140 dubstep, however, she will always stay true to her liquid drum and bass roots. 

Majix began to mix in early 2020 and has since then had many opportunities to play sets all over the UK.  She began to produce drum and bass herself in 2021 and has since dabbled in producing a number of other genres such as 140 dubstep, tech-house, lo-fi, downtempo and chill-hop.

Her most notable achievements in the industry to date are; having been selected by the well known drum and bass producer and DJ Sub Zero as one of the top 10 DJ’s in a blends competition run by Dazed Promotions, DJing in the Cage at The Cause in Tottenham, London, making her Bris-Tek debut at the Black Swan Bristol in September 2022 and later a number of other well known Bristol venues and events, including Voltage’s pop up BÖG Bristol rave and St. Pauls Carnival.
