Linear space in Level 0 is altered drastically; it is possible to walk in a straight line, return to the starting point, and end up in a completely different set of rooms than the ones previously passed through. Due to this phenomenon, and the visual similarity between each room, consistent navigation of Level 0 has proven very difficult. Devices such as GPS locators and compasses fail to function within the level, and radio communications are audibly distorted and often prove unreliable.

Level 0

Skin-Stealers are tall, pale and yellow humanoids with sunken white eyes. Their outer layer of flesh is covered with microscopic bumps similar to the suckers of an octopus's tentacle. These stick to skin that is torn off humans, and push and pull on it to make it fit, until the skin-stealer looks identical to a human. These bumps also pump blood and nutrients into the skin, to make it feel warm and alive as well as prevent decomposition. In addition, it heals the skin, hiding any cuts that may identify a real human. After a period of around 24 hours, the skin will be digested through the surface of the skin-stealer, and the skin-stealer will enter a docile state, that will last until their hunger for human flesh restarts.

Entity 10

First Symptom
After consumption of Liquid Pain, the first symptom will be either a mild fever or a mild swelling on both legs. The effects of Liquid Pain are treatable until it reaches the fifth stage. Drinking Almond Water is known to have a sizeable chance of curing the effects of Liquid Pain. If successful, all damages done to one's body by Liquid Pain will gradually heal. If one is unable to treat oneself before the fifth symptom occurs, the last three symptoms will be forcefully undergone without any way of preventing such.

Second Symptom
The second symptom of drinking Liquid Pain is a fierce, sharp, stabbing pain in the stomach. This will only occur once. It is commonly attributed to the corrosive and acidic liquid burning holes in the stomach and intestines. The pain has been described as being comparable to getting stabbed by a scorching hot stake multiple times.

Third Symptom
The third symptom of drinking Liquid Pain is a mild to moderate headache that will last approximately ten hours. The pain is dull but fiercely annoying. After the headache wears off, the fourth symptom will unexpectedly commence.

Fourth Symptom
In the fourth stage of drinking Liquid Pain will have one's limbs and head leak a small amount of pus. There is no discernible source of this pus, and it never leaks from any other part of the body. This is the last chance for treatment to be administered. If not treated, the symptoms will continue.

Fifth Symptom
The fifth symptom of drinking Liquid Pain will be small fractures that occur in the skull, which appear abruptly. The victim does not feel any pain during this process.

Sixth Symptom
The sixth symptom of drinking Liquid Pain is internal bleeding from the legs. The muscles start to break down creating lacerations, along with the bones in the afflicted' s feet snapping sporadically. This proceeds to cause a great deal of pain, yet is never fatal.

Seventh Symptom
The seventh and final symptom of consuming Liquid Pain is the explosion of one's stomach and eyeballs. The victim's organs bust open and leak their contents inside of the body. This is not fatal, although those with such a fate may very well wish it would be. The pain is utterly excruciating and has been found to have caused seizures. After the conclusion of the seventh symptom, the victim will become paralyzed, unable to move their limbs. However, they will still be conscious and aware of the pain. Afterward, the bones of each limb detach, preventing the victim from ever using these limbs again. Approximately twelve months later, the victim will succumb to Liquid Pain's deteriorating effects.
