Sorting the tune selection for this wasn't easy for me as its a genre i've been very passionate about since first getting into DJ'ing at a young age i tried to pull out some unexpected vinyls and not take it too commercial as i'd heard a few other Garage Hours and all the obvious tracks had been played.

The first instalment in a new series that aims to capture the essence of underground UK Garage. We invited our good friend DJ Redhot to kick things off, who has paved the way nicely with a combination of some rarer slices, together with a few of the more renowned anthems for good measure. Accompanied by the synonymous vocal tones of MC Neat who for those connoisseurs, will be parachuted back to the days of his frequent appearances on the notorious Freek FM.

MajorKaos – Long standing DJ hailing from Reading, UK has been on the club & festival circuit now for over 15 years. With a passion for UK Garage and Drum & Bass since as young teen, over the past 10+ years he’s established himself as a multi genre bass DJ, with primary focus on Garage, House & Bass and no holds barred party music. His mixing style is fast paced, high energy and technical with a selection that often spans multiple decades and genres. 

 

MajorKaos holds a 10 year residency at the infamous Purple Turtle in Reading of which he is the founder of the night ‘’SoundJam’’ (1st Saturday of the month). SoundJam showcases a mixture of bass heavy music across the board, playing host to both local/newcomer acts as well as more established artists on its signature ‘’SoundJam Special’’ events. MajorKaos is also a regular face at Garage Nation, with one of his finest accolades representing the collective in the main room at London’s prestigious Fabric night club 4 times now. During the summer, if he’s not shelling down clubs, you can catch him at a range of festivals throughout the UK & Europe.
