In 2011, we decided to implement a new way of releasing music that not only embraced today’s digital age, but also created a launchpad for artists breaking the norm. The result: Jeffree’s. By dropping a new track every two weeks at a price no one could negotiate, our brainchild went on to change the face of Mad Decent in ways we couldn't have fathomed. To this day, Jeffree releases are free to the public for a limited amount of time, no strings attached. Some of our most successful releases and innovative artists have debuted on Jeffree's including Baauer, Zebra Katz, Yellow Claw, DJ Snake and more. In keeping with the traditional ethos, we now bring you What Is A Jeffree?, featuring a new crop of artists who we believe are spearheading new genres, true to the Jeffree's style. For the next two weeks, we are giving our fans a new tune each and everyday, all leading up to a free download of the entire compilation. Our first track reveal off of What Is A Jeffree? is an eerie, trap banger brought to you by Tomsize & 8Er$. Parisian producer Tomsize, who has been dubbed a pioneer of futuristic trap in France, has combined forces with fellow Unborn Records alumni 8er$ to deliver the Spanish-flared “Bailar”. Harnessing each other's genre expertise, “Bailar” does anything but take up camp with the norm. With it's dark, foreboding atmosphere, listeners will have nothing to say other than ‘muchas gracias’ and adios as you dive into the melodic depths of "Bailar".

For those who are unaware of Half Empty's name, you may have seen it pop up on Borgore's "Goddess" track featuring hip hop annihilator @pouya-kevin, or even more recently in @Terravita new The Fallen EP in "Bad Boy". He's now back with his very first EP, showcasing his genre-bending skills as he coherently moves from ambient synths to aggressive bass lines. Borgore makes an appearance as they "Keep It Weird" in this heavy bass-house tune with your typical gorestep growls. 

This is only the beginning for Half Empty and can't wait to see what 2016 has in store for him.

P-Square, the Nigerian R&B sensation, have once again 'lit the blue touch paper' with their hot new track ALINGO and the storm is coming this way.

P-Square are self contained; producing, writing and composing their songs. Jude engees okoye is their manager who is also directing their videos. PSquare have grown in popularity from Nigeria into South Africa the UK, France and in the USA. They have released 5 albums, the debut album, Last Nite, was released in 2001 was followed by, Get Squared, in 2005 under their own label, Square Records. In 2007, they released the game over album, Game Over, which sold approx. 8 million copies worldwide then Danger in 2009, and finally Invasion in July 2011.
