Did you ever try to find your friends at a party? The feeling of ecstasy of seeing a familiar face is of the greatest, but look... did you ever also get lost and in the middle of all craziness you find a brand new old friend? Stroka is both at the same time.

The man is slightly more well known for this techno sets, but he's also always been enamoured with house music, and the transition to playing live brought his roots into the fore and what we have is a brand new old face.

Stroka is at the peak of his powers, with several dates booked including the festival The Town.

2023 re-release of “Spanish is Beautiful”, the EP previously released only on vinyl on the British imprint History Clock back in 2011, is now available here as well as on all digital streaming platforms.

The EP contains 4 tracks, the already classic “Spanish is Beautiful (Original Mix)”, which was also part of our second techno pop album “Marcha” from 2009, and a remix by Chilean dj and producer Alejandro Paz , which provides delicate acoustic guitars and Balearic vibes.

Now re-released on our own @Multinacional label, the EP also includes two other original tracks, “Pampa Moon” and “Psycho Rhythm”.

Coven & Amigas - Feasting - 17 Feb 2024

Hailing from Latin America, Panko (Argentina) & SUB-P (Brazil) bring their musical multiverse to Major Records with their House of the Future EP. Bridging the gap between the past and the future while traversing multiple genres, they build a world that is undeniable in its dancefloor prowess with messages of gender freedom and queer liberation. 

Opening with an audio quote from Brazilian Elke Maravilha that loosely translates to “I detest separating people by gender. They are just people, you know?”, “House of the Future” is a manifesto for a world unshackled by outdated constructs. “Darling, I Want My Gay Rights Now” builds on the iconic voice of Marsha P. Johnson into an acid-drenched techno workout that demands respect at every turn. 

“Down the Patriarchy” calls all femmes to the front with audio from Judith Butler spliced amongst some very familiar ballroom themes, catch it! “Worst Porn Lines Ever” is a coming-of-age tale from the days of dial-up internet. Heavy baselines pump while a mix of modern and vintage porn samples propel the song to its inevitable climax.
