Mak started rapping young after hearing his older brother Jay blast Wyclef Jean' Masquerade album, and his old friend Solo been rapping since high school told him to write does lines down after a freestyle. Inspired mostly by rappers like Lecrae, Trip Lee, KB, J. Cole and Lil Wayne, Mak developed a love for motivation and mindful lyrics. At the age 22, Mak's Microsoft Document was filled with rhymes, but no money for studio time to record them. He bought all the basic studio equipment and build his own professional studio for a good price, so he could produce music himself. By the age of 26, he was posting songs on various internet forums under the rap name Mak LG. Mak stood out with the idea of his rap name Mak L.G it stand for Mind-Apex-Knowledge Love-Gratitude, he make sure that M-A-K L-G personality label in all of his songs. when you listen to his lyrics he motivated you with his Mindful rhymes, he trick you with his Apex Knowledge and excite you with his Love and Gratitude flow.
