Bodhi is the Executive Director of Doorway Into Light, an Ordained Interfaith Minister in a Sufi lineage, a Hospice Volunteer, End-of-Life and Bereavement Counselor, Funeral Director, Death Doula and Ceremony Guide. He teaches and counsels in these fields.

Doorway Into Light operates the only non-profit funeral home and only certified green funeral home in Hawaii. Since 2006 Doorway Into Light has been supporting the dying and their families and offering community presentations and workshops throughout Hawaii and the mainland.
