JVXTA popped up on our radar this year with some tasty morcels on Clipp.Art, Homage and his own imprint Hardmatter. Now he's joining up with the Lobster Theremin guys with a beaut of an EP on their Distant Hawaii sub-label. We're showcasing the brilliant SS Anne that's fused two firm favourite samples into a late night burner thats as elegant as it is bumping. Almost two years in the making, we are thrilled to finally welcome Aladdin to the label with his first offering on wax and our first solo effort, Boilermaker EP. The A-side opens up with ‘Say,’ a sample-house masterclass bridging seldom connected worlds. And in the A2 slot is ‘Victims of a System,’ a pummeling dancefloor heater full of oversized kick drums and irresistible vocal chops. 

The B-side doesn’t mess about either, kicking off with the feel-good cut ‘Whenever You Feel Down and Out,’ combining equal measures bass-churning ecstasy and melodic bliss. And closing out the EP is label favorite Ricky Razu, flipping ‘Victims’ into a mellowed-out remix steeped in signature late-night, hand-clapping goodness.
