smooth crossover with caribbean, indian and australian sounds and some far out lyrics...
I'm very happy about this track, it has it's own atmosphere, try to listen in headphones and notice the small sounds that appears. I don't think it is reggae it is something else, trippy...

REM – About the Track (Inspiration and Process) :
REM is a stage of sleep that is characterized by low muscle tone, Rapid Eye Movements (REM) and dreams. REM sleep is paradoxical because of its similarities to wakefulness. Although the body is paralyzed, the brain acts somewhat awake, with cerebral neurons firing with the same overall intensity as in wakefulness.

Majority of the soundscapes have been created by experimenting with Buchla Easel V and few with use of Wavetable.

The track signifies REM stage of sleep focusing on the multiple variations to audio structure of sounds by additionally applying and modulating various parameters of Octaves, Frequencies, Filter Cut-Offs, Resonance and Low-Frequency Oscillation (creates a rhythmic pulse or sweep). 

The initial part relates to pre-stage of REM. Around 3.00 minutes into the track REM stage is activated and continues till 6.45 minutes. The remaining part gradually slowing down the process.

MakeFlame is a trance producer from Tampere, Finland, whose roots go deep into the electronic music scene of the 1990s. His style blends high energy, emotional melodies, and technical precision – living fully in the 138–140 BPM range.

His first touch with music production came at 16, when he got his first piece of music gear – the Generalmusic CD30. More than just a synth, it opened up a new world of creativity with multitrack recording and floppy disks. Inspired by Scooter, he dove into electronic music with passion.

After a long break, he returned in 2017 and has since released dozens of tracks using FL Studio, steadily building a name in the global trance scene. He’s now recognized as a respected and distinctive artist, whose music resonates with DJs and dance floors worldwide.

In 2022, Rave Like an Angel was featured on the iconic Future Trance Vol. 100 compilation. In 2023, his tracks hit the top of Beatport’s Hype Trance Chart and entered the Main Top 30. He also became A&R Manager at Defiant Records.

His releases span labels like One Forty Music, Future Sequence, Ablazing, Defiant Records, Grotesque, Positive State, and more. Supported by Paul van Dyk, Andrew Rayel, Sean Tyas, Ferry Tayle, Roger Shah, Steve Allen, and many others.
