After sharing the final batch of FBR releases, there is one last chapter we wanted to open. An unexpected, but very intentional one.

Like Leaves was born from a session with Freija shortly after Crato (Waking Life) last year. The vocals originated from her original poetry and were rewritten together into an intimate form of spoken word.
The foundation was built using hardware drum machines, with deep jazz as a guiding influence for groove, space and timing.

Toolate Groove went on a  dubby soulfull deep house interpreation of the track where space and swing take the lead.

Like Leaves EP is not a retrospective.
It is a final gesture for 2025.

Like George Orwell's futuristic world in "1984", Ampispazi's 84th release is looking at a far away future, dropping label honcho Mik Santoro's mesmerising "A Distant Place". AMP084 waves goodbye to the past and to 2017 and introduces us to a new year with Mik's forward thinking LP. Mik Santoro (who was born in 1984 - coincidentally) wraps up an intimate and soulful imaginary with the 8 tracks included in 'A Distant Place'. The album is a collection of melancholic tracks, some of which are melodic and reflective, others are groovy and club focused. The ability of Mik is to mix synths solos with rumbling bass lines, timeless arp sounding synths and evocative vocal samples, which merged all together create that dreamy atmosphere the label has always provided. Downtempo tracks like 'Feeling Like Sundays' or 'What Happen' works perfectly alongside dance floor killers like 'The Good Person' or the title track. There is also space for the elaborate and brainy 'Requiem for', a special ambient track, a crescendo of feelings and emotions. Whether it's an inspired vocal sample or a hypnotic line, this album has got Mik special and unique melodic sense that makes his music dreamy. 84 is the number, 'A Distant Place' is the name.

Hace 3 años viví la maravillosa experiencia de participar en el Festival Burning Man en USA, y al mismo tiempo tener una corta gira por Norteamérica.

Para esa aventura, decidimos crear junto a mi gran amigo Albert Hofmann, un tributo a nuestras raíces musicales (era lo mínimo que podíamos hacer por ser hijos de la Capital de la Salsa, Cali).

Hoy, para traer de nuevo a la vida el lanzamiento de nuestra canción ¡Que viva!, queremos compartirles este sabroso homenaje a la música y la vida.

Three years ago I had a 'life chancing' chance to be in Burning Man Festival, and tour shortly around USA at the same trip.

For that adventure, Albert Hofmann and I decided to create a tribute to our musical heritage (honestly was the least we could do keeping in mind we're sons of 'Salsa' Capitol, Cali).

Today, we decided to bring back to life our release ¡Que viva! and share this 'Tasteful' tribute to life and music.

After a 2 year hiatus following his last release on Under Your Skin Records, Harted returns home with “Dear Unrest”, his first full album and the first album ever to be out on Moodfamily. The trippy, soft yet rhythmic and danceable elektronica and IDM sound on Harted’s third release “Dear Unrest” reflects a period of actual unrest, demonstrating the sound of his personal growth during that time. It represents an honest quest for the human experience of unity and the existential search for his function in the world, unearthing a battle to harmonize his sound with his sincere emotions.

The tracks were originally created for a live set, actually rushed by a fear to fall short of fresh, new material and of not having anything new to play. “I didn’t want to bring the same live set as usual and this momentum pushed me to create new material. I was craving to play that live set because I love to connect with the public in that way.”

Drawing strength and inspiration from listening to Bonobo, Rival Consoles and admiring live concerts of Nils Frahm, while he envisions the evolution of his live shows beyond a mere music performance alone. ‘Dear Unrest’ is only a part of the journey of coming into his own. And it’s not over yet.
