Eric wrote this song as part of a songwriting challenge with his friends in Milkjug Records back in 2010. As far as I know, he only played it one time which was on the day he wrote it. He told me it was how he'd feel about me if he ever died. I freaked out at the time saying it was the saddest song I'd ever heard and that he wasn't ever allowed to die on me. I forgot all about the song until the week we went to make the record. I found it on an unlabeled disc in my closet. I had no idea he'd recorded it on my computer that day. It was & is everything I needed to hear.
