In October 2021 a group of young people from The Prince's Trust in London took part in 'Making Tracks', formed a band and together created a set of songs written from their own perspectives and life experiences titled 'New Friends Old Enemies', as well as producing their own podcasts ‘Creepy Pasta of London' and ‘The Life and Times of Charles Stuart’ – an in-depth interview by Radu and Conrad with ITT musician Charles!

Making Tracks is a programme developed by the Irene Taylor Trust to positively engage young people in the community by providing enriching creative opportunities. This project was run in partnership with The Prince’s Trust’s Get Started programme. The project was supported by Youth Music.

Podcast: The Life and Times of Charles Stuart

Making Tracks is a music project for young people, run by the Irene Taylor Trust.

The projects focus on creating original new music for live performance as a band. The young people are supported to write and play their own music by professional musicians. 

After taking part in the 'intensive' project, the young people are offered follow-on sessions to further explore music making and achieve an Arts Award.

Making Tracks has been running since 2012, including projects in Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Croydon, Tower Hamlets, Hammersmith & Fulham, Manchester, Kent and Bristol.
