To continue to help push forward new music we've decided to start a run of exclusive full streams of tracks from our blog. First up we have a serious slice of Lo-Fi action on the new label Mint Tea, the EP features 4 tracks from the likes of Moda, Raär, James Henry and Trudge. Here's Raär's Love Remix of Moda's track Contemporary Reality from it, this ones full of heavy kicks, dusty hats and makes fantastic use of an old Sade sample. The sub bass in this one really fucking grabs at you....and you can't help but love it!!

James Welsh continues his run of exemplary club singles on Phantasy with another powerful and uncompromising two-track release, Sitting/Rubber Dog. The record follows D974, which earned support from DJs including Laurent Garnier, Charlotte de Witte and Luke Slater.

Sitting enforces precision rhythm with a rolling, dystopian bass line alongside a hypnotic and memorable vocal sample. As the tension increases, the track’s clinical feel is unexpectedly flipped on its own head, blossoming into an intoxicating and emotive synth melody.

Meanwhile, Rubber Dog stays true to its absurdist title, as Welsh dials his analogue assistance to a head-spinning maximum, pulping out an unwieldy jam that blends industrial and electro influences to riveting and darkly psychedelic effect.

LASMO is a Polish duo composed of Jaroslaw Smolny, well-known to everyone from previous house music projects performed together with Catz'n Dogz or SLG and his friend Tomasz Lachowski, currently taking bold steps in the world of techno music.
They made their first moves on the native music scene in 2017. In April, they conducted and played on the TECHNO Conference in Lodz and continued on the second edition of Lodz Electronic Music Festival DOMOFFON, performing alongside Jonas Kopp, Anthony Rother, Dopplereffekt and others.
Their joint enthusiasm and energy pushed them towards taking action in the studio, resluting in a dozen of fresh and strongly energetic techno tunes. They do not intend to let the grass grow under their feet and continue their work on a new music material. The result of their cooperation was a brand new label called Interval Records.

"Brighton born and Manchester based DJ/producer Joe Roberts (aka Strebor) creates melodic techno with undertones of rave inspired breaks. Born in Brighton in 1995, he grew up with a keen interest in dance music, his earliest memory of his musical journey was being 9 years old taping his favourite songs from the radio on blank cassettes. Eight years later at the age of 17 he got his first pair of turntables, self teaching himself to DJ with production coming not too long after.

He eventually made his club debut in March 2014 in response to coming first in a DJ competition. Since then he has moved to Manchester in 2015 for university to study Music Production, which resulted in various gigs across the city and also the very place he co-founded Techno and Electro collective ‘Kuta’ where he is currently a resident DJ.

With UK night-life being currently out of bounds, lockdown has resulted in the Manchester based artist to resort to playing various live streams and also hitting the studio harder than ever before which has consequently led to his debut EP entitled ‘Regulate’ being released on Satta Records. His influences consist of the likes of Bicep, Underworld, Pangaea and Joy Orbison."

‘Hors D'oeuvres’ is a digital series of snack tracks they like to call "DJ food", something quick and delicious for the crowd to devour. The DJs serve them up on a platter and leave them hungry for more.
