More free 80s goodness brought up to date for you - this time I’ve taken a track by the Whispers called Imagination and applied the Funkier treatment. Title track of their 10th album, it's an absolute banger that's been a weapon in my crate for years and felt ripe for a bit of beefing up. It’s already a great tune that exudes early 80s boogie funk niceness so I haven’t done loads to it, just the usual crisping up of percussion and making it throb along nicely. My latest offering to you is a revision of Hot Chocolate’s excellent Every1’s a Winner - a tune that I must admit is a bit of a guilty pleasure… but it’s a brilliant tune all the same. I’ve beefed it up with a bit of fresh percussion, teased out some of the vocals and bass, and held off on that famous guitar riff until midway through. I think it’s turned out well, and it’s all yours in exchange for a few clicks!
