Nach drei (!) Konzept Alben schließt sich der Kreis und  Paradeis Hustlers zWWaII kommen zurück mit ihrem fünften (!) Studio-Album. Präsentiert von dem umtriebigen Berliner Label ‘Studio Schierker’ versammelt PH2-Mastermind El Jefe einige Freunde, unter anderem aus dem Erotic Toy Records-Camp, auf der neuen Scheibe. Da die Zusammenarbeit zwischen El Jefe und Gründungsmitglied DJ BH in 2018 etwas ins Stocken geraten war, ist letzterer nur mit einer Produktion auf der Scheibe vertreten. “Der Schock” hat es dafür umso mehr in sich und ist ein würdiger Abschluss dieses vielseitigen Langspielers, welcher neue Akzente in der Rap-Landschaft zu setzen vermag ohne dabei den gewohnten PH2-Sound einzubüßen. Hardcore-Fans und Neulinge sollten auf ihre Kosten kommen.

Blue Hawaii are our favorite Canadian electronic duo, composed of Rafaelle «Ra» Standell and Alex «Agor» Kerby. Ra is also a member of Braids band. Their music varies from dream pop, chill wave, experimental and ambient. 
Their debut release Untogether (2013) was more ambient and ghostly, while the pieces of Tenderness are all love songs to dance to. Here is some dreamy ambient mixed by Agor with magical Ra’s vocal special for WAVES.
«Home Mix 1 features many ambient sketches that I was working on just after making our album Tenderness. I think I needed a way to decompress and create something that wasn’t trying on any particular identity - no pressure. It was originally intended as a joke - actually as «spa» music - and I do hope that one day these will exist together in some relaxing home-listening format. They belong together as a collection you can work / study / sleep to».
