On the 11th of May is my Brother's birthday so this composition would be forever for him and will have the title of his birthday.
On May of 2014, I was working in this composition all day and have forgotten his birthday. So I make it at the end of the day for him.

It's a been a while and I've been mute on Soundcloud.  Frankly the response to my last piece blew me away and honestly I put so much into that Elégie it was very hard to do something else.  

In the end I stopped trying to force music and sat down and just played and this came out.  

I just finished getting my studio out of boxes and I've been gigging very heavily at the moment.  My hands are in poor condition as a result, hence the title.  This is the sound of my Guitarviol on it's own.  Some of you asked to hear it solo so here it is.  

This was improvised with in two takes (I took a short break as I'm in agony, sympathies please!).   

I recorded it with two new microphones - a wide diaphragm condenser and a ribbon microphone.  The mix has been astounding in terms of the sound. 


Picture - This was hanging up in Erfurt Cathedral.  Colours are quite vivid in real life considering it's older than most countries.

Few Words for my Composition :
Inspired by Chopin

MidNight-Prelude in E ♭ minor  [ Don't Look Back / Album 2020 ]

This is an orchestration based off the main themes from the Nightmare on Elm Street series. The original version is classic 80s that I couldn't compete with, so I just tried to bring it to the orchestra, play with the melody a little bit and give it a touch of my own style. It's not completely identical - just keeping a similar feel/style.

Software used:
FL Studio 11, Kontakt, BRSO Woodwinds, Spitfire Albion, Loegria, Iceni, Felt Piano, Solo Strings, Percussion & Harp, Various private libraries

Natural philosophy was the philosophical study of nature and the physical universe that was dominant before the development of modern science in the 19th century. 

It included the study of astronomy and cosmology, the study of nature the elements; the study of matter, and the philosophy of space and time. In this case I was thinking particularly of the study of air and the discoveries of the gasses that make up the atmosphere.

Perfect for focused contemplation, historical daydreams, or simply immersing yourself in a soundscape that bridges art and early scientific thought.

By coincidence I found her music, I fell instantly in love and had to do a song with her.  Our vibes and emotions clicked and with the help of https://soundcloud.com/tddybrr (her brother), we created "A Cabbage Named Fred".

The main point, or underlying meaning, or higher power "Fred" has...lies in the fact that he's just an imaginary friend.  And when we're alone, and alone or in love, he's there.  

This particular track is very important to Kathryn & I, showing your friends and dogs and moms and ants and pants and vegetables in your fridge and tulips in the wind...would mean the world to us both.
