Malabika Brahma is a musician, proficient creative artist based in India. While pursuing her graduate degree in Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University she co-founded  BrahmaKhyapa with her musical mate Sanjay. 
She has a distinctive voice and her rare renditions of folk songs have made her a favorite of many prodigious musicians across the world. She has worked in different musical projects across the globe and has been a part of the much acclaimed International Cultural Exchange programs of U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs like One Beat, Next Level and American Music Abroad Program. As a part of her independent musical journey she has performed and sang in many Indian films and like Gulaab Gang, Houseful, Hanuman dot com to name a few. Currently apart from her musical career she is pursuing independent research work in the field of cultural diversity and inter-personal human relationship. She has worked with Kolkata based photo agency Drik, where she coordinated and organized various innovative photography workshops with remarkably skilled photographers. 
Music and photography to her is a soulful medium to express her emotions and reactions to life as a whole. Apart from her musical career she is pursuing independent research work in the field of cultural diversity and inter-personal human relationship. She is keen to explore nature and human relationships through the lens and weave a tale out of it.
Her current ongoing project is an audio visual narrative, ''Tale of a wandering Minstrel'. 
She currently also works as a Cultural Director for the International organization, Levantine Public Diplomacy and collaborates independently with organizations lending her ideas for coordinating social engagement and residency programs for artists and youth.
