Everything is spiraling in a soup of VIBRATION. Music is a powerful vibration that has been used since we humans started walking on this Earth. In Africa, the power of the drums can heal people, and through dance disease flys out of people's bodies.  
The intention of this dance was to shift illness and dis ease from our bodies by raising our vibrations collectively on the dance floor until the vibration was so high there was no place for low vibrations of sickness. This is how we do it in the modern age same same but with more bass!!

My Last set for awhile at the Yoga Barn- it was super high vibes and I dedicated this set to my Grandson MANA may he remember the power and fire in his belly to rise above all limitations and remember who he is as we all remember the depth and constant possibilities this life has to offer. MANA -LIFE FORCE ENERGY

This Ecstatic Dance was dedicated to my dear friend and fellow Dj from Cairo who has spent the last 9 months in a coma. He let go this week so I wanted to dedicate this set to him on his wild earth walk and his transition from this world to the next. 
Wild Dancing has been one of the ways I have used to alchemize grief back into joy and release pain, anger and anything that doesn't serve me to walk in beauty. Dance is the medicine and music is the drug....enjoy the ride!

While living in Africa I had the privilege of attending many Baby Ceremonies where the community would come together with the drums, and sing and dance for HOURS- so this set was inspired by my Ancestors to bring the community together to celebrate UZAZI means birth in Zulu - Collectively we are birthing much right now, so lets dance in wild abandon to celebrate this life!!
