El evento “Animalik” consiste en una serie de cortometrajes de animación musicalizados en vivo. El programa cuenta con trabajos de realizadores de diversos países como son: Polonia, Colombia, Francia, Estados Unidos, Japón, Suiza, Rusia, Inglaterra, Canadá y por supuesto México (algunos hechos expresamente para este proyecto), e incluye cortometrajes de diversos estilos y tecnicas; desde el stop motion de principios del siglo XX hasta lo mas moderno en tecnología digital. Estas películas se musicalizan en vivo por un ensamble mixto que consta de:
Voz, flauta, saxofones, batería, percusión, guitarras, bajo eléctrico y cello, con un componente muy importante de música electrónica.
