If Walls Could Talk

This song started off with the bass line played on the piano at the start of My Little Town by Paul Simon and released in 1975 as a Simon and Garfunkel single. I’ve always really, really liked it and so I wanted to see if I could use it in some way.  Actually it would be more accurate to say my interpretation of it!  I’ve used the motif in the horn/brass sections and, just in case that was a bit too subtle, the riff gets much more developed towards the end so hopefully ( if you know the Simon and Garfunkel song ) you’ll recognise it in the finale! I also wanted to mix in something as a big contrast to this - hence the disco groove! It was a whole lot of fun learning about disco bass lines and the sound of a disco drum track. Of course, I really hope you enjoy the song regardless of whether you know the original or not and feedback on any aspect is very, very welcome and much appreciated.
