Episode 45 of HM3RR goes into HM III's achilles heel, the 2.5 mile Tricky Triangle Pocono Raceway where snake bit luck has plagued HM III in the NASCAR '14 Series and the last 6 races at the prestigious Pennsylvania track. HM III started out in back and steadily moved his way up into the top 30. By use of pit strategy allowed HM III to reach as high as 15th pretty late in the race. However, that much needed finish did not last long as HM III's car started to fade in the long run on old two tires regulating HM III and the 28 team to a 25th place finish. The finish is HM III's first finish inside the top 30 at Pocono in NASCAR '14, which was a goal that the team planned to achieve.

HM3RR - Episode 45|Pocono 2 (2020): Same Ole Story At Pocono

HM3RR goes into race 22 at the Watkins Glen International for the last road course race of the season. HM III dominated all weekend by winning practice and qualifying on pole. HM III started off by missing a line and fell back to 10th, but was able to catch and pass the leaders by lap 12 and quickly began to check out. Despite being part of the races two cautions, HM III pretty much dominated the race leading 75 laps and enroute to his 2nd career win at The Glen and his 5th win of the season with hopes of getting back on track after rough finishes the past 4 weeks. The win marks HM III's 9th career road course win, the 2nd most all-time behind Jeff Gordon's 10 road course wins. After The Glen, there are 5 races left to the Playoffs.

HM3RR - Episode 46|Watkins Glen (2020): Glen Victorious

The N'14 SMS Cup teams head into the Thunder Valley at the famed half mile short track Bristol Motor Speedway where the series reach race 24 with 2 races left to the Cup Series Playoffs with short track tempers and tensions start to boil over as the playoffs approaches ever so closer. HM III and the #28 team had to start in the back with a back up car due to sustaining heavy damage in a crash in practice 2. HM III slowly but surely navigated through the field to as high as 20th in the first 50 laps. HM III would have another Bristol roller coaster night by being up the front for a a few times in the race, even leading 26 laps, but being shuffled to back after a restart had HM III playing catchup, then fall back due to being part of a caution and play catchup again to salvage a 12th place finish in another chaotic race. The finish locked HM III's Top 30 spot by having a insurmountable points gap to 31st in points; HM III will lock up the playoffs by leaving with a 50 point lead over 17th in points with his 5 wins at Atlanta in a couple of weeks.

HM3RR-Episode 48|Bristol 2 (2020): 300 Laps of Madness

The NASCAR '14 Season Mode Cup Series returns to go racing at the Atlanta Motor Speedway after a 2 week holiday break becoming the site for the first race of the New Year. With 2 races left for the playoffs, the race featured a lot of craziness that shook up the playoff grid. Many drivers including HM III had struggled with imperfect race cars with many battling loose conditions while HM III struggled battling a very tight car in the center of turns 1 & 2 all night. HM III and the 28 team were able to get the car to drive better just after halfway through the race and were able to overcome from madness (including being a part of 2 cautions) to win for the 6th time this year in dominate fashion and officially locking his spot in the playoffs as the number 1 seeded driver.

HM3RR-Episode #49|Atlanta (2020): What Is This Race Coming To?

HM3RR this week rolls into race 23 in the Irish Hills at the Michigan International Speedway where there are 5 races left to the playoffs as intensity and urgency begin to ramp up and also a place where HM III won in a dominant performance the last time out. HM III started on the pole and fell back to 3rd but quickly retook the lead on lap 2. Everything was going HM III's way but begin to unravel after the 2nd pit stop of the race. HM III's car had began to lose grip of the track conditions and was part of 2 cautions by having a loose race car along with being caught a lap down with a caution coming out during the final pit cycle had put HMIII and 28 team to be in the back for the final 30 laps. HM III restarted back in 28th with 30 laps to go and was able to rally to a 7th place finish denying HM III his 4th straight Michigan victory. This was HM IIIs first 85% opponent difficulty top 10.

HM3RR-Episode 47|Michigan 2 (2020): No Four Leaf Clover

This week HM3RR hits the golden milestone of the big 5-0 for the 50th episode of the series. In this monumental episode, sees the NASCAR '14 Season Mode Cup Series roll into Richmond for the last race to make the playoffs where racing intensifies to make the last 3 spots. HM III started on pole, but made a errored move by cutting down in front of another car in turn 2 on the first lap resulting HM III to almost spin and fall back to last. HM III would start moving back up into the top 30 after the 70th lap. HM III and the #28 team would struggle all day with a very tight and loose long run race car, but executed perfect pit strategy to make up track position up to the top 15 a few laps after halfway and making passes up to the top 10 with less than 100 to go. The #28 team executed another successful stop late in the race along with more adjustments allowing HM III to stay in the top 10 and make passes up to the top 5 to where he would finish in the 5th position after another week of rebounding effort.

HM3RR-EPISODE 50|Richmond 2 (2020): The Golden Episode

This week, HM3RR heads to the subdivisions of the Windy City at Chicagoland Speedway to start the first race of the Season Mode Cup Series playoffs. Chicago has been a famine track for HM III as of late and Mondays race continued that trend of becoming HM III's weakest tracks by average finish. HM III had to start from the rear in a back up after a wreck in 1st practice destroyed the primary car. HM III had begun to race his way up to the top 25 by the first green flag pit stop and found himself inside the top 20 after the stops had cycled. However, the great gains for track postion was all for not as HM III had begun struggled with a extremely tight truck throughout the race on the long run effecting the cars speed and regulating a potential top 15 finish to a 24th place finish, earning HM III his 3rd straight finish of 20th or worse at the Chicago 1.5 mile. 

After Chicagoland HM III went from a soft cushion of 15 pt lead over the cutoff line(13th) down to a slim 6 pt margin in 10th place where there are no room for errors to avoid HM III being eliminated early again after leading the series in wins (6). Can HM III head to Loudon and make-up for the dissapointing Chicago finish and gain more points? Found out in next weeks episode from New Hampshire.

HM3RR-Episode 51|Chicago (2020): Frustration!!!

The Round of 16 struggles continue for HM III in this weeks episode of HM3RR that sees the N'14 SMCS head into the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the 2nd race in the Round of 16. HM III started on pole, however made a very late block to defend a car making a divebomb move in turn 1 to where HM III accidentally almost turned himself and fell back to last on the 2nd lap. HM III made countless efforts to make his way up to the top 25 spot by the time the first green flag stop took shape. HM III and the 28 team used various pit strategies to get track position but did not play out in their favor. HM III was in the top 15 close to the finish, constant run ins from non-playoff drivers derailed HM III of a decent finish to finish in a disappointing 21st place finish. HM III now sits below the 12th place cutoff in the playoffs by 4 points and faces a high pressure situation where a good finish and most certainly a win can save HM III from first round elimination.

HM3RR-Episode 52|Loudon 2 (2020): Frustration Again

The NASCAR '14 Season Mode Series opens the 1st race of the Round of 12 for the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs at the Kansas Speedway as HM III and the #28 team look to win and advance to the Round of 8 and break a string of bad finishes at a track HM III saw a bit of success at. Well it was not meant to be as the race started rough for HM III by being involved in 2 cautions under 10 laps that had set the tone for the 28 team throughout the night. HM III struggled all night with a tight race car along with a race car that showed no speed on either short or long runs. HM III was involved in a wreck late that caused severe engine damage to the car forcing HM III to make a couple of unscheduled pit stops to fix the damage. HM III will blow a tire on the last lap and coast to pit road to finish the horrendous showing in 40th, HM IIIs worst run at the finish in his career. HM III now finds himself last of the 12 drivers 21 points out of 8th and has a good chance to win at his most successful track at Charlotte next week to stay alive in the Round of 12.

HM3RR-Episode 53|Kanas 2 (2021): Another Rough Day at Kansas

Episode 54 of HM3RR goes into the Charlotte Motor Speedway for night racing for the 2nd race of the Round of 12 and HM III and his 28 team find themselves last in the 12 driver round 21 pts out of 8th and is in a must need to perform to stay alive and not face elimination next week. HM III started the race from the back due to unapproved adjustments after qualifying and soon began to work his way through the pack slowly but surely. Solid pit stops and good adjustments allowed HM III to reach the top 10 after lap 55 and took the lead on lap 82. As the long run continued, HM III had begun to lap cars at a rapid pace eventually lapping the whole field by 20 laps to go and en route to his 8th win of the season and win number 9 at the famed 1.5 mile quad-oval. HM III's win advances him to the Round of 8 for the first time in 2 seasons and also gives HM III his 89th career win among Eutechnyx's NASCAR gaming titles.
