Malcuth & IO drag you into the depths of pitch black. Through their collaborative sonic signature they envision fluid forms of the darkest moods of electronica. Dubstep, Techno, Drum & Bass, anything they touch bring their unique gothic-driven aesthetic. This midnight synth opera will make the dance floor crumble under the sheer weight of pure subsonic pressure.

Repulsive EP is heavily inspired by the empty halls of the eerie Backrooms lore, analog horror films, Berlin industrial techno, contemporary neurofunk and a very broad scope of different musical genres. It boasts diversity and keeps uncompromisingly ominous feeling at the same time.

Both tracks are speaking about some sort of connection – voluntary or involuntary – the curiosity and endless thirst of human mind that becomes slave to it’s own design. Slave to social media connection, human connection, to the point of danger of ruining yourself.
	I feel like this sort of dystopian Drum and Bass, or more broadly a bit darker forms of electronic music always tend to easily bear ideas that can become stories on their own. I always like tracks that go with a bit of a hidden story behind them, because they feel more immersive on the dance floor and keep you more hooked and interested in the sound.

Boom! We made it to top four, got handpicked by PHACE. This remix came together over a weekend sesh in an improvised cabin - mountain studio with / Facutum and yeah the result is sick. We played the original 140 in our B2B sets for quite some time so when we heard that there is a competition going on around this tune it was a "call of the nature” for us (pun intended).
