Somebody to Love (House of Blues Audition)

This is a Raw Untouched, Unedited, UnAutotuned, Recording I did on the spot with Nick using my iPhone voice memo.  This was during a time when everything was happening very quickly for me.  I didn't quite know where I was going with this track as I had a many opinions clouding my mind and couldn't focus on really singing the song my way.  Listening to this nearly 4 years later I realize how I have grown as a vocalist, an artist, and a human being.  I treasure this recording because I remember how I felt sitting across from Nick late at night with his acoustic & no distractions.  Nick always made me feel safe and very comfortable in the studio and beyond treating me like the brother I had lost years ago before coming to Hollywood.  Posting this is bittersweet but important to know that Nick was as Gentle as he was Forward.  I will miss you forever Nick as I loved you like a brother. Rust In Peace my Friend.
