Sonic Loom presents THOS GROL with a live mix of his finest productions in this episode. Plotting behind the project 'Thos Grol' is Dimitris. The project grew out of his need to convey his experience of ‘Liberation Through Hearing’ a phrase taken from the Tibetan book of the dead. After many years of studying soundology and experimenting with all kinds of electronic equipment and sound sources, the time is ripe to put all thoughts together and express them in music. From science f(r)iction to science facts, expect a mode of subversive psychedelia blended with a bit of poetry.

Apsaalel is a Swiss dj living in Geneva area.

His dedication to electronic music started in the late 90’s with the rave movement.
The love for the psychedelic scene was born at that time, thanks to the Psyberpunk parties in Switzerland and several collective such as Mantra Tribe System, Biolive, and other friends.

He bought his first MKII and sound system with his first salaries at the age of 16.
From techno to trance, progressive and then psytrance, he traveled through different music genres.

Apsaalel project started in 2023 with the willingness to share his love for the psy scene across borders.
From vinyls to digital, the project was born.

Focused on forest and dark, his dj sets are composed in a way to create fairytales and bring audience into deep organic sounds and forest atmosphere.
