Rooted in the French psytrance underground, LÉAX shapes her sound with a unique blend of classical training and raw dancefloor energy. Raised on classical piano, she fuses sharp technique and rich harmonies with hypnotic textures.
Her path naturally led her to the shadowy realms of darkpsy, where she carves out dense and captivating journeys. As a member of the Collectif PsyCamp and freshly signed to the Squarelab Music label, LÉAX delivers deep and immersive sets: no tricks, pure sound.

This episode of the Sangoma Series features a DJ set from ORIGINZ, recently recorded in China at a Rove Project party in Guiyang, Guizhou. A powerful and energetic mix of night music, it includes some of the latest releases from the label along with a few psytrance and forest classics, inspired by the small but vibrant underground scene in China. Originz, aka Raphaël Atlan, is a 30-year-old psytrance activist from Lyon, France, and a Sangoma Records DJ since 2019. As the founder and director of Outrance for the past ten years, he has also been involved in major events as a programmer (Hadra), stage manager (Hadra, Own Spirit), and social media manager (Ethereal Decibel). He performed at the last edition of Ozora on the main stage in a B2B set with Rajax. In 2020, he released his first VA, Eagles Rising, on Sangoma Records.

KIMMEI @ The Hive | MoDem Festival 2024

This SEQUOYA Live Set contains tracks from his recently released album "Penumbra" among a few others. SEQUOYA is the project of Yan Krassowski, born in 1979 in Darmstadt, Germany. His love and passion for electronic music began in the mid-'90s at the age of 15, when he discovered the local techno scene. Early influences included DJs like Sven Väth and DJ Dag, along with first experiences in techno clubs like the legendary Omen and Dorian Gray in Frankfurt. He started spinning techno tunes at small parties until the psytrance movement shifted his musical direction.  With a group of friends, the Gecko Crew, he organized several small parties in his hometown and began playing progressive/psytrance DJ sets under the alias Yan Gecko. After several years of national and some international gigs, he joined BMSS Records and released tracks on various compilations. Yan's favorite sound has always leaned toward deep and mystical. After life-changing experiences on the dancefloor at large festivals, he fell completely in love with forest psy and more nighttime-oriented music, and in 2012, the Sequoya project was born.
