Fire

It is with great joy and excitement that I share this next track taken off the "Blackbird" album called "I am a Rock".
The song is about defying the hardships in life and remaining steadfast through tumultuous times.
The band and I had so much fun playing and recording the track which really comes out in the final product.

I Am A Rock

Malek is an Australian born singer and songwriter based in Sydney and "Blackbird" is his debut album. The album was written by Malek produced by Tauese Tofa and Malek and mixed by Steeve Body. Cover art by MimiJazie. 

Malek's influences include some of the greatest storytellers in Rock and Roll  including Yusuf (Cat Stevens), Neil Young, David Bowie, The Eagles and the Pop that shaped the 80's and 90's including George Michael and Tears for Fears.  Malek's influences also include local legends such as Crowded House and Cold Chisel.
