Multi-talented singer/songwriter MALEKE O’NEY was born in a small town in Florida and later moved to the nation’s capital where she began her musical career.  She performed at several BET sponsored events and was the lead singer for a popular GoGo Band. This exposure gained the attention of a production team birthed from the Tank and Ginuwine camps. They created a body of work that sparked the interest of Dreamworks reps and MALEKE O’NEY was introduced to the reality of the music business. After some creative differences, MALEKE O’NEY, refocused and repositioned herself to begin a new chapter in her journey as an Independent Artist in Atlanta, GA.
MALEKE O’NEY has collaborated and forged many great relationships with entertainment industry elite.  She has established herself not only as a highly sought after Performing Artist, but one of the go to writers within the Atlanta and UK music scenes.  In 2014 she released her debut EP “The ReIntroduction”, that depicts the magnetic performer’s struggles with love, relationships and self-discovery.  
It garnered rave reviews from many, including Sonic Soul Review Magazine:  “The ReIntroduction is a must have in your collection! MALEKE O’NEY’S hauntingly, sticky voice oozes everything Soul music has been missing.”
Before dedicating focus to her 2018 release, “Confessions of a Pentecostal Girl”, MALEKE O’NEY has performed to sold-out crowds and toured internationally with Artists such as Ro James, Eric Roberson, BJ The Chicago Kid, Julie Dexter, Jesse Fisher, Janelle Monae, Edwin McCain, Jarrod Lawson, The DangerFeel Newbies and Loose Ends to name a few!
Her forthcoming Fall release entitled “Not Really, But Kinda” is a collaboration with famed Unhooked Generation and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Playlist Retreat alumni, DJ AppleJac. It’s a collection of “Funk and reality...” says the Soulful songbird.
