PHYR Records launches its debut episode with an electrifying one-hour set by the label’s visionary founder, Pyramidal Decode. 

This new series showcases the core of PHYR Records: dark, hypnotic, and powerful techno, brought to life with immersive, flashy club visuals that transform the dancefloor into a pulsating audiovisual experience.

For this inaugural episode, Pyramidal Decode crafts a journey through the label’s signature sound, blending atmospheric textures with relentless industrial rhythms. The visuals, synchronized with the music, create a futuristic club atmosphere-perfectly capturing the essence of PHYR’s identity.
Pyramidal Decode is the alias of Francesco De Marzo, a prolific Italian techno producer and DJ born in 1998.
Known for his genre-defying approach, he moves fluidly between ambient techno and hard industrial, creating mind-bending, hypnotic soundscapes.
 
Starting his musical journey as a guitarist, he later embraced electronic instruments, developing a unique production style that manipulates and distorts sounds into new forms.

Since launching the Pyramidal Decode project in 2017, he has released music on renowned labels such as Axis Records, Dynamic Reflection, MORD, Warm Up and his own Phyr Records.

His sets and productions are celebrated for their emotional depth and technical mastery, making him a rising figure in the international techno scene.

About Vertical Spectrum:

VS is the latest project of a Polish producer from Silesia, whose stage activity began in 2000. Over time, his musical variations and constant passion, which he showed under various
alter egos, also playing live acts, led to the creation of Vertical Spectrum, under which name the first official EP was released in 2015. After several subsequent releases, he received an offer to record the first vinyl for the German Nachtstrom Schallplatten, associating the top names of the techno scene, and for which he has so far released 5 vinyls, including 1 album. The result was collaboration with many legendary names, culminating in remixes of techno aces such as Alexander Kowalski, Patrik Skoog, Abstract Division, Developer and Samuli Kemppi, as well as proposals for further productions for prestigious labels - Dynamic Reflection, Tsunami Records, owned by the Spanish legend Christian Wunsch, or Granulard Records, under the banner of 1/2 of the Exium duo. As a result, in 2018 he received proposals to work with Pole Group, under the leadership of Oscar Mulero himself.

2021 is another milestone in his career, which resulted in releases for the world's leading techno labels, such as:

Welcome to episode 09 of the Gekiga podcast. This week we’re proud to share a proper hypno mix by multitalented, Chilean native, DJ & Producer extraordinaire: Diego Oroquieta.

In his relatively short career, Diego has already dropped multiple EPs on some of the defining techno labels of the current era. Starting in 2021, Diego has released highly rated music on Muted Recordings (Portugal), Selected Recordings (Spain), Newrythmics (Spain), Olympian (United States), to name just a few. 

His tracks have been featured on sets by some of the best DJs of our time such as Marcell Dettmann, Adriana Lopez, Slam, DJ Nobu, Border One, Jeroen Search, Vertical Spectrum, Kaiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Wata Igarashi, Quelza , DJ Shufflemaster, Pfirter, Joseph Capriati, and many others.

Personally, I think Diego is one of the best young talents today. His tracks have a singular sound that is raw, primal, but highly sophisticated. GKG RECS is currently working with Diego towards our first collaborative release which will feature a blistering remix by the god of brutality himself: ENDPLATE. 

I believe Diego’s reputation and appreciation will only continue to rise as more diggers come around to his impressive and growing catalog.

We’re honored to feature Diego on GEKIGA podcast and our work together is just getting started.

Welcome to the 13th episode of The Gekiga podcast. For today’s set, it’s my honor and pleasure to welcome my comrade, and homie NWHR. 

The term “prodigy” gets tossed around a lot, and in most cases it’s a meaningless descriptor, but with Franco there’s no doubt in my mind it not only applies but underestimates his talents. 

As a producer in his early twenties, his resume already puts guys twice his age to shame. Having dropped masterpieces on Bas Mooy’s MORD Records, ØM’s WARM-UP label, a double vinyl on the incredible Nachtstrom Schallplatten (where I had the honor to contribute the cover art), Illegal Alien Records, [R]3volution Records, Prophet Recordings, a collaborative LP with the underground icon Kolpos, and on and on and on. There’s no one who has accumulated the level of respect and appreciation from the best of the best in such a short time and at such a young age. 

Today’s set is a journey through dark, hypnotic textures and assertive rhythms that only Franco can deliver. To have such a sophisticated, defined artistic signature so early in his career is mind boggling and I’m here to support, witness, and cheer my brother every step of the way.
