This track originally started as the surface and caves music for the "No Mans Land" concept biome but was eventually scrapped as the surface song and a new one was put in it's place. It's one of my first full pieces of work.

Concept lore: "No Mans land is said to once have been a beautiful place, but something happened to it that caused it to become desolate, silent, dead. A barrier was placed over the island to prevent travelers from going there, instead it caused them to mysteriously vanish, if they were able to come back, they would already be dead.. If defeating the moonlord allowed you to come here, then what truly happened to this once beautiful island... Why does it feel like you're being watched with every step? Was that a shadow....?"

The melody at the start is supposed to give you a false sense of safety. Until the next time the music starts up.... which then reminds you.... "You're constantly being stalked while you're on this island... It'll never be truly safe"
