Bud Stepper est un artiste Rennais autodidacte. Issu de la culture punk et metal (bassiste) il découvre la culture dub
et c'est le coup de foudre.
Après plusieurs années a s'initier et expérimenter la MAO, il se lance dans la création de son premier EP.
Un projet qui rassemble son amour pour l'espace et l'exploration de l'inconnu avec sa nouvelle histoire d'amour avec le dub.
Chaque track du projet est orienté autour d'un objet ou d'une exploration spatial. 
Il a utilisé différents sons issus directement de l'espace et a construit toute ses track autour d'un son, ou d'une ambiance en particulière.

Originaire de Lyon et étudiant en mode à Milan, Automated Desire a toujours eu ce besoin d'explorer et de créer, en s'informant sur la peinture, le cinéma, les arts visuels... Mais son dévouement s'exprime surtout en musique. Il commence très tôt à composer du dubstep, pour ensuite trouver sa voie dans la Dub, la Drum&Bass et le Breakbeat.

A travers son premier EP solo, l'artiste propose un voyage visceral vers l'autodestruction et l’abandon de soi, illustré par des sonorités raw et chromées, résultat d’un croisement entre le Dub, le Garage et la Jungle. Le résultat est un projet qui peut aussi bien être écouté en concert qu’en pleine virée nocturne.

Coming from Lyon and studying Fashion Design in Milan, Automated Desire has always felt an urge to explore and create, by learning about painting, cinema, visual arts... But his dedication is mostly expressed in music. He first began to compose dubstep, and then found his way in Dub, Drum&Bass and Breakbeat.

Through his debut solo EP, the artist offers a visceral journey towards self-destruction and abandonment, illustrated by raw and chrome sounds, the result of a crossing between Dub, Garage and Jungle. Détérioration is a project that can be listened to in a concert as well as coming back home after a night out.
