Andik’funi is a Xhosa word directly translating to “I don’t want you” here the artist expresses how unconnected and how she’s not accepting the proposed love or rather affair. This single is a deep house release with hints of minimal and deep tech house music, as the feels are  emphasized by the remixers Tahir Jones & Avi Subban and of course inspired by the original mix from Kamanda featuring Inathi on the Vocals.

Today as Mozambican artists, they are hardy, aware of the mission and the debt they owe to their people to recover their culture through music.

Droplets. The sonic manifestation of rain. A life giving act of God that is the truest form of art the world could ever hope to encounter. Random fact: KBB have each honoured us with an offering from beyond time and space. An ode to the beauty and divinity within art and an expression of movement that only a conscious human being could afford to experience at full intensity.

When it comes to Malik’s performances he also follows the above conventions - this means that as long as a track exudes genuineness, peculiarity, and whimsical charm, it finds its rightful place among his music collection and eventually his sets. Malik’s playlists are curated based on the authenticity and distinctiveness of each track and it doesn't matter if it falls under different sub-genres of house music or if it carries a different bpm.
