I’m sharing an old but favourite lost and re-found set of mine from the Endanabani celebration by Shanghai Café and Day-Trip which took place during Dia de Los Muertos in Oaxaca, Mexico 2021. Oaxaca City is a truly magical place that time of the year  and I love going to the street parades and cemeteries which are full of candles and live music. This night I was playing between Sora and Mira, and with so many friends om the dance floor, I have to say the vibe was awesome. Muchas love and thank you all for dancing!! 🥀☠️🖤

In May last year I was invited as one of the acts alongside my friends Chambord and Made in TLV to the Xamanic Journey in Basilicata, Italy, where I was asked to lead the ‘Friday Night Boogie Extravaganza’ in the stunning Castello di San Basilio. This was an absolutely unforgettable weekend with music, friendship, Italian food and - of course - mezcal!

I wanted to wait to share this set, mainly because I had been given some unreleased gems I couldn’t post online yet but also because I felt like the set ended up way more eclectic than what I normally play. It was the first night of the weekend, after a long dinner in the castle followed by the acoustic performance of Slim & The Beast. When the band finished playing, around midnight, the guests - who had come from all over the world - were more than ready rave but we also had to close at 3 am. For this reason, there wasn’t time to do a long build up and instead I went straight into an eclectic mix of all my favourite old and new dance tunes.

Warung Tour in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, was one of my favourite shows of the year 🫶 The crowd here - close to the border where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet - is fantastic and always up for a party. This is my set which was 1 to 3 am and I legit went to sleep right after. I woke up at 6 am to play another a B2B with Wes Razzy (which I really regretting agreeing to as my alarm went off). However it ended up being such a fun time and since I had slept and felt energised, I also ended up playing at the after party with an amazing local DJ called Marko Zalazar.

My affection for Robot Heart is well-known, tracing back to my first encounter with it in the desert sands in 2008. Over the years, my musical journey has been deeply influenced and shaped by its presence. 

Having the opportunity to partake in Robot Heart's Residency in Oakland, California, was a true delight. 

The four-hour set I performed stands out as one of my favorites in recent memory, largely due to the unparalleled connection forged with the audience. 

Beginning the night and carrying through to the peak hours before passing the decks to Sante Vie, the energy was phenomenal to say the least. 

I hope that you find as much joy and resonance in this performance as I did that night
