Sometimes relationships does not end how we thought they would, but time passes, and we get over that person who once stirred something insde of us..or so we think.. There are many layers to be peeled, and even though we don't want to get back together, at least not if that person or circumstances does not change, we still find ourselves longing for those feelings that were awakened in that meeting of souls.

Longing for more

This is a collaboration with Davide Swarup, wonderful hangdrum-player, and "the cosmic mermaids", a female trio created for the occasion, consisting of myself, Annette Münster and Julie Sommer. The three of us are singing and I am playing the guitar as well. We did a few rehersals before the concerts so there's lots of  improvisations.

We had two concerts a day for three days, inside a Mausoleum with natural reverb. No mic or speakers involved..amazing!
The Mausoleum is all "affresco" from the artist that built it and now he is resting there.

It was such a nice atmosphere. For one and half hour the audience was laying down, receiving massage, someone was dancing.. Thank you to all who came!

I love to put melodies to mantras, and this is a quicky I did tonight.

Govinda and Gopāla are names of Krishna, referring to his youthful occupation as a cowherd.
The ancient text Sri Brahma Samhita (5.1) describes Him as the source of all that is and the original cause of all causes.

Each time

Hoping to touch some hearts, comfort some souls and inspire other to express themselves in some way or another.
I am not one of those who have been singing all my life. Only a few years ago I discovered how much joy I felt when singing, and I have come to the conclution that I want to write my own songs. So, I am getting to know my voice, my guitar and my recorder more and more.
I am too impatient to wait with the sharing until it's perfect, I just need to get it out there for some reason, so - if you're looking for perfection, you should look elsewhere, but if you're looking for something with heart and soul in it, - you are most welcome!
