The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Emi Galvan for his first appearance. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain and more. A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Released in 2010 as part of the band’s ‘Heligoland’ album, the song would go on to become one of the LP’s most recognizable tracks, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify in the process. Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets. DJ Producer, born in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. He began his first steps as a DJ in 2016.
His main style is progressive house, but his sets are dynamic in tune with the place, time and track, varying at times, with melodic house and deep house tones, characterized by a very grooved and melodic sound. From an early age he has been influenced by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha and Nick Warren.

In 2018 he began to internalize himself in the world of production. In February 2022, he released his first EP on the "We Are The Underground" label, which has an original track called "Greta", made in collaboration with the renowned producer and DJ Cesar Lombardi.

He shared the booth with DJs from the local scene such as Matias Chilano, Ivan Aliaga, Christopher Erre, Marce del Boca, Vladimir (AR), John Rosignoli, Juan Ibañez, etc.

He is currently residing in the city of Córdoba capital. Playing in different clubs on the local circuit and devoting a lot of work to new productions.

Clubsonica Records rounds out the summer season by welcoming Ruben Karapetyan back to the label for his debut EP. Born in Armenia but now calling Los Angeles home, Ruben Karapetyan has carved out a unique place in the electronic underground. His emotive synth leads and tough, dancefloor minded grooves have made for a resonant worldly sound that is all his own. Following a ten-year hiatus, Ruben made a triumphant return to electronic music in 2020 with a series of the releases via Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, The Soundgarden and Univack. On the strength of his fresh, progressive sound Ruben quickly earned praise from the genres trendsetters in Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also becoming a regular in Beatports competitive sales charts. This resurgence also re-established Rubens DJ career, one which saw him share the stage with Sasha & Digweed, Sven Vath and Orbital as part of lineups at legendary events and club nights such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Together as One and AgeHa, amongst others. Moving forward Ruben has been a force on the circuit, delighting progressive music fans with his exquisite taste and impeccable programming skills, with recent stops in Amsterdam, Armenia, India, London, Mexico, Pakistan and more. Seemingly in constant motion, Rubens Clubsonica debut came in 2023 with a remix of Kamikaze by K Loveski and Geronimo Eguiguren, a project which would be followed by a contribution to the labels popular Sampler series later that same year. Now, following a series of projects for his RKP imprint, Ruben returns to Clubsonica for his first artist EP Neurotransmitter | Parisian Vibe, alongside remixes from Gai Barone and Molac.

 Returning to the label for the lone interpretation of Neurotransmitter is Gai Barone. With an esteemed career stretching the better part of two decades, Gai Barone has become one of electronic musics most sought after artists. The renowned musician and Italian native has long been one of the industrys most fascinating producers. An unrivalled quest for the creation of something uniquely memorable and deeply moving has fuelled his sonic journey. As a true craftsman, it is this drive for excellence that makes each one of Gais studio creations met with much anticipation. Afterglow, Bedrock, Lost & Found, Renaissance and his own Patternized Recordings imprint have been landing spots for some of his most notable work, while progressive music trendsetters such as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and more have been steadfast supporters along the way. In a year that has already seen Gai record chart topping remixes for Dreaming Awake, Golden Wings Music, RKP and Vapour Recordings, the talented Italian now returns to Clubsonica with an exhilarating take on Neurotransmitter. Taking a smooth progressive approach, Gai constructs a tight rhythmic core, complemented with punchy beats, reprocessed sonics and cascading arps.
