onedotsixtwo heads to São Paulo by way of the very talented Carla Cimino who has created two sensuous tracks in ‘Fractal’ and ‘Illusion’, while Australia’s Mike Rish delivers a stunning remix of the title track.

Carla Cimino has been directly involved with electronic music and the underground scene in her native São Paulo since the early 2000’s, and began producing her own material almost ten years ago. In that time she has released on many quality imprints such as Warung Recordings, Culprit and BC2 Records gained support from DJ’s far and wide, including Hernan Cattaneo, Hoj, Madloch, Chris Fortier and many more. 

The EP opens with Fractal. Pulsating bass envelops the listener from the offset. Shimmering shakers and congas dance between sustained chords, and ethereal voices build tension amongst plucked strings. A track that would sit equally comfortably during the build of a set, or late into the night. Illusion is next with an addictive groove, razor sharp hats and mesmerising chimes, leading to a break full of excitement and anticipation, and onward to a release worth every second of the build. Mike Rish makes his mark on Fractal and what a mark it is. He takes the key elements of the original and adds a big dose of peak energy using powerful builds and sweeps layered amongst thunderous reverberating FX, while accentuating the string elements. Proper heads down progressive.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint opens the summer season by showcasing four remixes for Beije's "Waiting For The Sun To Rise EP" which originally got released in 2021. Beije has already landed key releases with Sound Avenue, Hoomidas, Cafe De Anatolia, Manual Deep and Harabe.

Jhonatan Ghersi is a Uruguayan dj and producer, born in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay. From a very young age, he felt his taste for music, and not related to the electronic genre, he began to take his first steps in it from 2006 as a DJ doing his own raves in the city of Sauce - Canelones, where he lived great part of his adolescence and formed.

He then decided in 2007 to study with one of the leaders of the national scene such as DJ Oscar Valdez and thus be able to insert himself into the Montevideo scene. In 2010 he began his production studies with the renowned dj / producer Nicolás Silvano (LogiztikSound) and in 2011 he held an electronic music workshop with the renowned musician Emil Montgomery.

Always influenced by melodic and deep sounds, it is what keeps him in his own style and with his own personality when performing his dj sets, radio shows and productions.

He began to release his music in 2017, labeling in them such as RYNTH, The Purr, Canopy Sounds, Dreamers, Bekool Records, Be Adult Music, among others.

Into The Ether - Muse [Freegrant Music]

Born in Chile but now Buenos Aires based, Paula shot into the electronic music spotlight in 2016 with her vocal work on Jos & Eli’s ‘Walking On Water’. Released through long standing German imprint Einmusika, it set the course for what has been a remarkable two year stretch. Paula has since gone on to collaborate with some of progressive music’s most esteemed talents in Antrim and Kamilo Sanclemente. 2017 saw Sound Avenue label boss Madloch introduce Paula’s sublime vocals into his well received Magician On Duty single ‘Deserts & Snow’. A friendship and mutual respect developed between the two artists, eventually leading to Paula’s first and much anticipated solo single in 2019 courtesy of Sound Avenue, alongside remixes from Powel and Adam Nathan.
