Collapsing new rhythms and industrial visions meet restless melodic vocals on Gateway, the debut album from San Francisco duo YANTRA on Swiss label Subject To Restrictions Discs. This isn't dance music, but you will dance to it. It isn't ritual music, but it will channel spirits.

The dreamer is still asleep. She awakens to heed the call. Curious downtempo drums, spartan and potent, animate the body. Running through the city, shadows dance on walls, and alluring voices, whispered, sung, and soaring, possess the mind. At the end of the path, gazing at the mirror's edge, she finds the source of the voice—and realizes it's her own.

YANTRA are artist-producer Yaniv de Ridder, also known by the alias YNV, and lyricist-vocalist-instrumentalist Janina Angel Bath. The pair have worked together for some time, beginning with YNV's 2021 LP Golden Hour Ritual. On Western Paradox, a YNV EP released last year on Subject To Restrictions Discs, Bath contributed vocals—and so YANTRA, the project and the concept, was born. Working together, the pair craft new forms of transcendent sound, timeless and familiar all at once.

The made ace, insanely brilliant Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo, releases ‘Aker The Lion God’ on 31st October, a precursor to his upcoming album ‘In My Dreams (I’m A Bird and I’m Free)’, out on 21 November.  PRE-SAVE ALBUM ~

Inspired by field recordings from New Zealand and Brazil, the environmental sounds of a conch shell and a bassline influenced by Charanjit Singh’s proto-acid house work is worked into some altogether more ethereal.

He has two upcoming releases as part of a VA and remix while currently working on his second album on Pinkman records. He offers a left-field take on electro, techno, EBM, breaks with surprise selections in between. He is a curator at Galactic Funk and hosts his shows on Operator Radio. He brings an immense passion for music, a very deep record bag, and energetic selections.'

moving on to more introspective moments, others more stormy and intense, ending with more melodic, sweet, and sunny moments with a higher bpm but always slowed down.
Living immersed in a nature reserve, accustomed to different meteorological changes even during the same day, I was inspired by this alternation of atmospheric events, mixing different old and new sound languages, alternating the intensity of moments like the passage of time.

Attendances was born in 1987 in Ancona, a small city on the east coast of Italy. He's an Italian DJ and producer influenced by different types of music, mainly progressive, trance, and electronic music.

His interest in DJing began almost as a game and he started playing and then working in different clubs and social centers such as Thermos and Kontatto (Ancona). 

During his university years, he began studying different software for the creation of sounds, producing songs intended as a photograph of the soul within the passage of time.

After several years of working in sound creation, in 2014 he started his project called "Attendances", he then created his podcast series "Retrofuture" and started publishing some songs with different labels such as Play Pal, Maleante, Esthetique, and Emerald & Doreen.

In 2018 he became a member of the Italian-Spanish crew "Carajillo Electronique" In 2022 he became also a member of another crew "Circuits" playing in different clubs and festivals in Italy, Spain, and France

Bakk Heia’s schuttle drops the ‘Noisome Pools’ EP on Will Hofbauer’s gloriously idiosyncratic Third Place Records this December. The release starts with title track ‘Noisome Pools’, in which mysterious creatures gather to the sound of low-slung, organic drums, their gated voices humming along acidic licks and wriggling synth hits while tropical sounds envelop the forest. ‘Dungeon Shakti’ is next, its tempo dialled up with rattling percussion and hard-hitting kickdrums, futuristic bleeps and zaps whirring above while a robotic vocal rears its head occasionally.

schuttle’s ‘Jejunum’ continues the ‘Noisome Pools’ EP with more magical concoctions, culminating in a soundscape marked by tripped-out sequences and dub-infused rhythms before ‘Goo Imprint’ closes out the release. Intricate grooves with a side of wonk drive the track forward, while lightweight melodies and electrifying hits get doused in acid slick.

Newcastle-via-Manchester artist schuttle co-founded Bakk Heia Records with Jorg Kuning, Bitzer Malo, and Samuel Tomsky, stemming from Bitzer's now 8-year-running Bakk Heia party at Salford’s The White Hotel, where the four regularly deliver their signature mix of swampy euphoria. Schuttle's releases via Panatype and his own Bakk Heia Records effortlessly blur the lines between club and home listening and has received support from notable tastemakers like Ben UFO, Joe Delon, Jane Fitz, Kiernan Laveaux, Barker, Pariah, and more. He now lands on Will Hofbauer’s Third Place imprint, joining an excellently curated roster of label artists like Stella Z, Yetsuby, Later Version, and Sangre Voss.
