McCartney includes it among his personal favourites of all the songs he has written. In 2000, Mojo ranked it 4th in the magazine's list of the greatest songs of all time.

So, the concept of this song is something a lot of people may go through including myself in the past and many others in the present.  Falling hopelessly in love with the wrong person.

  As for the music I believe this is much closer to being a better blend of instruments and writing. as well as the mix and mastering I have been learning over these last two years.  If you go back to when I started and listen to my tracks off of Controlled released back in March 2024 see if you hear the difference as I have been writing, playing the instruments and mixing and mastering.  Still have a lot to learn on everything even the guitar that I have been playing since I was at a young age. Thanks for listening.

This lil unfinished song is called "Highlights." I was thinking about how on social media, we only post about the highlights, the positive things that happen in our lives. But only knowing someone's highlights isn't really knowing them, is it? Real life is the high points, the low points, the everyday-mundane-times. This song is about wanting to be in someone's life, for the highlights, and for everything in between 💙
