Our friends at lockdown FM (www.lockdownfm.live) invited us down to do a liveset last weekend, so we busted out our open-source homebrew multiplayer midi sequencer for an hour of improvised hardware jams!

Malleable - Creators Sessions #3 - Lockdown FM

Malleable are back on Lockdown FM (www.lockdownfm.live) for the 5th creator sessions, bringing you 45 minutes of improvised hardware workout! 

The malleable 808 sequencer (or MSEQ) is an open source project that brings the joy of live multiplayer improvisation to livesets via the power of the MIDI protocol. It forms the heart of our improvised livesets, and is the workhorse of our studio and because it is open source - it can power yours too!

Malleable - Creators Sessions #5 - Lockdown FM

Malleable are a garage/jazz trio based in London. Signed to Claptrap Records, Tom, Kris and Ben have been bringing their left-field, deep house inspired beats to London dancefloors for a few years now.

Their latest release, ‘Beginnings of a Shaky World’, covers the ground from tropicalia through to nineties house and onward into the darker corners of electronica. You can listen to the infectiously-energetic album digitally or on a very limited edition yellow cassette.
