Malle Dieven was formed by the diverse minds of Mantis and Devon Miles who have been friends since childhood. Raised in the Zwolle area, both have been producing music for quite some time. Mantis and Devon have always shared a great taste of hip hop and electronica throughout the late 80's and 90's, the golden era. They both had many success in their own field. Mantis was the beat creator for the Groningen based hip hop group Amazing Ventjes and released 2 cd's and a vault of beats + gigs. Devon Miles has been active in the techno scene in former hometown Zwolle and made it to the finals of the GPNL as a liveact and producer. He was also live act resident of the Groove factory parties in Zwolle. Besides hip hop and techno they also share same interests in a wider range of sound and music like pink floyd, vangelis, gentle giant, genesis, talking heads, gary newman etc. Malle Dieven sets a focus on a more obscure side of making beats while remaining phat, funky and deep. Bangers but also more trip hop will invade the ears. After many years of gathering experience and knowledge it's time to fire up the studio's and dive into the deep; Expect the unexpected!!
