2016 truly will be the year of Mordisco. The Granada-based duo is not only hosting big-time events in their hometown but is extremly active producing disco and disco house tunes that already found their way to legendary disco labels like Midnight Riot! With their latest EP 'Caliope' the ambitious Spaniards wrote an ode to one of nine daughters of Greek god Zeus which goes by the very same name. She was known to be a muse who presided over eloquence and epic poetry and the guys really found inspiration and a musical spirit through her to create a piece of disco history. Performed and recorded live at Laser Highway @ Forgotten Worlds Melbourne 19 November 2016. Comments, questions, shares, likes are more than welcome. I live to push the sound, and the more people out there listening, grooving and loving the better!

This is the middle set bridging the gap between the live performances of CVES and InfraGhosts. I set out to play mainly tunes that I would classify as Outrun and Retrowave, my gateway drugs into the wider retro-future fringe sub-genres. As usual, there's a few mistakes in there, but that's the joy of the live DJ set performance, but all the tunes are mixed in key. There's a couple funny transitions because as I also run the night, I have to leave the decks to look after live acts and help set up while I'm playing. Enjoy! I had a blast!

Back in 1997 I wrote this half-way thing called "Epic of the 90s" which I had intended for The Gathering (Norway's famous data party). However, I never got around to complete it, and just recently found the original files on my Roland XP-60. So there was only one thing to do: Rework it and make it into something suitable for 2018. 

The song is a little homage to all the great artists in the demo groups and crews who made these parties what they were and are today.
