After a 3-year break, the Germany-based label Malonian is back. The label's ninth release comes from the Berlin producer Mental Carnival, who should be known for his Big City Jungle / Fresh EP on La Pena Shots.

This EP features 4 unique tracks that sound like the producer made them specifically for the dancefloor of the romanian Sunwaves Festival. Because that's where the idea for the label with the subtitle "Based on friendships which started in Mamaia" was born in 2014. As usual, the record comes with the label's typical artwork and full cover.

We are more than happy to welcome Andrei Ciubuc to our podcast series. 

This set was recorded at the last edition of Dor de Munte - a three-hour journey of lovingly selected house and techno records.

Andrei Ciubuc is one of the producers and DJs who complete the overall picture of the Romanian house and techno underground. The extensive knowledge of sound engineering and composition can be felt in his selections and productions. Andrei Ciubuc's experience with music came from a young age, playing instruments such as violin and guitar and eventually analog electronic devices.

In both his DJ performances and his productions, he switches between a variety of genres and styles, which is notably evident in his most recent sets.

The demure appearance of Romanian artist Praslea belies his deep involvement in the music industry. With his name appearing on top events, especially in his home town of Bucharest, circa 2007, Florin Cunțan is a certified don of our scene. Having been inducted into the [a:pia:r] clique from an early age his “Jurnal De Bord” EP way back in 2009 he has hardly been prolific, but this is not where his real talent lies. With his solo credentials above reproach, it is par for the course for Praslea and his peers to perform together even at the biggest of events. So, it is hardly surprising that two artists from this family should join forces on the regular and that partnership is Praslesh. Not wishing to over comment on this duo, this does, however, go some way to explain the level of skill that Florin commands.
