The passing of Nipsey Hussle is a tragedy for rap, hip hop and music in general. This track is a remix of Nipsey Hussle feat. Dom Kennedy "Don't  Forget Us" of the upcoming "Remixes from the 404" which I have decided to drop today as a tribute to the life of Nipsey Hussle. He was and remains an inspiration for a lot of young musicians because he showed them how to make it big by believing in yourself and craft. Thank you for your music and REST IN PEACE NIPSEY HUSSLE, we will not forget you.

After a little break Maloon TheBoom is back with “Remixes from the 404 “ 

The whole concept was to take tracks from modern and classic rap songs and put them in a new context of jazzy laid back classy timeless feels. In typical Maloon TheBoom style he started playing accapellas on his SP 404 and then added the whole beat to the accapella whilst the accapella were still running. He would do this at live shows and people seemed to love it and after numerous requests for the tracks Maloon TheBoom finally recorded the songs from the SP. The remix tape has some of modern rap and hip hop’s biggest hits from Cardi B, Migos, Future, Skepta, Nicky Minaj, Missy Elliot and even 2017’s viral hit "Mans Not Hot" from Big Shaq. 

“I chose acapellas which gave me a chance to represent the song in a new light, give them a different feel and make them accessible to people who wouldn’t necessarily listen to the original track. Others I just chose because I was keen to do a remix” – Maloon TheBoom 

The opening track on the tape is Nipsey Hussle and Dom Kennedy’s “Don’t Forget Us” and is Maloon’s tribute to Nipsey Hussle. 
“We won’t forget him and we won’t forget what he did for the industry. He is an inspiration to a lot of up and coming rappers and showed them how you can do your own stuff and own your own stuff and be the master of your own music and destiny…” – Maloon TheBoom 

Maloon TheBoom is already working on a new remix tape and is also planning to release the instrumentals to the “Remixes from the 404”
