We're very excited to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of "HEX Recordings" so for the occasion, we decided to create the most powerful release so far, a Triple-Vinyl Various Artists, which includes the creations of some of the artists that are closest to the Movement but never released on the label until now like Rebekah, Cleric, Remco Beekwilder, together with new members like Benjamin Damage, AEIT, Imperial Black Unit, End Train, Rommek, Maere, 6Siss and of course some of the ambassadors of the label like Under Black Helmet, VII Circle and the two HEX Founders Paolo Ferrara and Lorenzo Raganzini.

Brock - Men Of Mayhem (Original Mix)

Nestled in the artistic alleys of Buenos Aires, a particular sonic tale has been spinning, knitting a web that draws in listeners from every corner of the globe. This is the story of Testículo and their newest auditory foray, "Elementos del Terror."

When one dives into the origins of Testículo, a picture emerges of a band born from the chaotic confluence of creative energies at Casa López in August 2019. The journey of this music project from Buenos Aires has seen them traverse a path marked by shifts and evolutions.

It began with an ever-changing lineup, constantly tinkering and experimenting, which is not uncommon for bands in their fledgling stages. It was during this phase of transformation that cassette recordings surfaced, putting forth the distinct vocal prowess of Marcos Gonzalez Cutre and the digital drum pulses of Yordi con J. But the narrative took a decisive turn with the 2020 release of the album "Mutilaciones," a trifecta of demos that saw Marcos at the helm. This was more than an album; it was an assertion of Testículo's sonic identity.

By the time 2022 rolled in, "Elementos del Terror" began taking shape. The recordings saw the band return to Pulpería Antídoto. Guiding them through this auditory exploration were Carlos Ángel Luppi and Árwy – notable names in Buenos Aires' soundscape, recognized for their musical endeavors with Ave Parva, Arcanas XIII, and pantanosumpf, among others. Currently, both these maestros, alongside Pedro999 of Sto Fue Tdo and Vertts + Pedro999 fame, contribute to the unique soundscape that defines Testículo.

The upcoming "Elementos del Terror" isn't just a testament to Testículo's intriguing art. It's a global celebration of music, with remixes from a myriad of international artists: the beats of Pedro999, Raíz Savia, Bikatronika, 1134_, and Sauren Kids from Argentina; Dataísmo's Mexican reverberations; the Spanish tunes of Squaric and The Hombre Invisible; the Grecian echoes of Grey Gallows; the Polish harmonies of Rozmazani; the Romanian rhythms of ProAntiAnti; the soulful strains from Georgia by Henry Keller; and the Far East nuances of Fuyama Yousuke and Jin Cromanyon from Japan.

The record is jointly christened by two labels, Periphylla(a sublabel of Diffuse Reality) and the celebrated pantanosumpf. Both serve as a testament to the expansive reach and collaborative nature of this release.

About EP: Reminiscences of a past that never was. This new chapter is a narration of an oneiric tragedy/drama (at the apogee of a realm?) about risking it all to overthrow the throne. Glory, Disgrace, wealth, ambition, misfortune, loss. Put down the mighty from their seats, exalt the lowly in an utopian new order.


About Artist:
The Fifth Stigma is an industrial and esoteric project, exploring the realms of history and wonders from forgotten eras through music.
Tired with the direction of contemporary techno, The Fifth Stigma aims to craft a slow, heavy and raw metallic techno, influenced by history, emotions and obscure world music, driven by a blend of several genres in times where everything seems to go faster, look alike and tend to be too easily accessible and instantly consumed.
Production wise, he forges intimate pieces, creating sonic atmospheres filled with fantastical imagery, conjured by the artist's imagination, which have a compellingly oneiric quality, whilst always exploring new sounds from different horizons, from liturgical to techno, from noise to punk electronics.
He recently joined as resident DJ Los Angeles’ illustrious warehouse raves curator Dirty Epic, the collective behind the Compound series and Re/Form festival.
The Fifth Stigma’s selections flourishes of meticulously sorted dance-floor tracks ranging from techno to EBM to less known sub-genres, journeying across the wide scope of electronic music.

‘Cutting Thighs’ is an aggressive play on words of the classical idiom ‘Cut Ties (with
someone)’ and refers to the darker side of losing a long-standing relationship.
The album makes use of distorted drums and unique synths blended with recorded foley.
Several rooms made from recorded impulse responses from real locations around my
home island helped add a personal touch into this album.
The aim was to create a digital head-trip without conforming to a specific style.

Cutting Thighs

Unhuman - Don't Call Me Back

It has been three years since Soil Records released the last edition, the fourth in this case, of their Valley of Tears series of releases. It was a fairly representative series of releases of this recording project, and in fact, we were quite surprised by the label's statement regarding this musical collection, however, we are even more surprised that the label is reviving this saga after announcing its end. Soil Records will maintain Valley of Tears as it has done up to now, with a careful selection and vinyl as the only format.

This fifth release brings together four interesting names; two consolidated projects, Crystal Geometry, who joined the Soil Records catalogue in 2019 participating in the Body Shaper EP (remixes), and the Catalan duo NX1, who participated in the commemorative album of the label's fifth anniversary in 2023. The other two artists who complete this edition are E-Bony and Parand, two artists who have been on the rise for a few years now. E-Bony, like NX1, was also involved in the label's fifth anniversary album, while Parand is the only one of the four artists to join Soil's catalogue for the first time. 

Valley of Tears 5 opens with NX1's SL2  (a nod to SL1), industrialoid techno with a punchy, concise punch, which faithfully reflects the duo's sonic character. Crystal Geometry introduces us with Haute Tension in a more rave-like environment with a fast and totally evolving techno. With Missed Connection, Parand chooses to connect electro with techno and syncopated rhythm with binary rhythm. E-bony closes the EP with Zero Point Echo, perfectly structured techno with an excellent sound design.

The Hedonic Treadmill is a raw reflection on the chaos of modern life — a world addicted to speed, stimulation, greed, and endless craving. It’s a descent into the kafkaesque fast-frenetic world of consumerism and hijacked attention spans that we live in, striving to turn noise into signal.
Blending dark industrial techno with ritualistic textures, Buddhist undercurrents, and the pulse of Moroccan folklore, the EP explores the tension between synthetic systems and ancestral memory. From warped mantras to distorted rhythms, each track spirals deeper into the mess — sometimes meditative, sometimes violent, seeking cleansing driven by storytelling and culminating in a cinematic climax.
