I had the unbelievable opportunity to compose music for several bard songs for Elder Scrolls Online. This is a cover arrangement of one of them. :) Many, many thanks for all your support these past few years that led to this happening! I love you guys!

Three Hearts As One - Elder Scrolls Online Bard Song Cover by Malukah

This version of the song has no loudness war mastering compression. I made it to show fans the difference and how having a large dynamic range makes the music sound clearer, more exiting and just all round better!

Yes - it's much quieter. So use your volume knob and turn it up to the same volume as the album version and play them back to back. Pay particular attention to the drums and percussion, how they thump & punch much harder in this version. Notice the music has so much more space, more air, more clarity in all instruments. You'll hopefully instantly hear the difference! 

Also, this has nothing to do with file size/format compression. It's to do with dynamic audio limiting compression applied at the mastering stage.

Thank you for making this happen. The support you've shown over the last year and a half led to this opportunity to work with Zenimax Online Studios. They asked me to write a fan song for the Elder Scrolls community, based on the ESO story. :)

I will be sharing more info about the writing process of this song soon, but I just wanted to say that I read in the lore that the word Tamriel means "Dawn's Beauty". That's why the song ended up being called Beauty of Dawn. :)
