The beginning of a journey. Repentance (My Prayer) is the debut single of the young South African RnB Singer-songwriter, DIMAL. The song captures the image of someone praying to God seeking grace and forgiveness from God for the sins that they’ve committed in their life. It tackles themes of pain, reflection and longing for acceptance.

DIMAL is an Rnb-PopXSoul fusion artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. He is an inimitable songster with a voice bathed in gold. His richly textured tone paired with his emotive lyrics have an incredible effect on people, tugging at the very depths of their souls. 

His musical talent was fostered from a young age as he was raised around a family of incredibly talented vocalists on his mother’s side of the family in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal  From as early as 3, DIMAL was making music and singing along to some of his favourite gospel tunes and artists which heavily contributed to the DIMAL sound as we know and love it today. 
At just 17, he’d already been co-signed Legends such as Jonathan Butler and Mia from South Africa.
His musical influencers range from the likes of Brandy, Joe Thomas to Boyz||Men and The Clark Sisters. 

He hopes to create music which people will lean on when times get confusing and life is hard. He hopes to make music the language that transcends the absence of words when people struggle to articulate their emotions in simple words. He hopes that his influence will expand internationally, bringing others closer to the healing that they deserve sonically
