A TRAVESSIA — 

Quando o casco finalmente se soltou da costa, não houve celebração.
A água não aplaude. Ela aceita — ou afunda.

O navio demorou a entender que já não era observado. A terra havia ficado para trás, e com ela os olhos que precisavam explicar. No mar, não havia testemunhas. Apenas presença. A Travessia começou ali: no instante em que ninguém mais assistia.

As criaturas sentiam primeiro.
O lobo perdeu o hábito de farejar limites.
O morcego já não distinguia noite de dia.
A serpente, acostumada a contornos firmes, começou a se mover em curvas mais largas, como se o próprio corpo estivesse reaprendendo a existir.
Sob o casco, Thal’uun mergulhava fundo demais, tocando zonas onde nem o navio ousava escutar.

O mar não atacava.
Ele reorganizada.

Correntes puxavam para lados que não constavam na intenção. Ventos surgiam sem aviso. O navio compreendeu que não avançava por força, mas por adaptação contínua. Toda rigidez custava energia. Toda entrega economizava vida.

Em certos momentos, algo surgia no horizonte — não ilhas, mas formas de passado. Ecos de portos possíveis, versões do que poderia ter sido. O navio não se aproximava. Já havia aprendido que chegar cedo demais é outra forma de naufrágio.

A Travessia não tinha ritmo fixo.
Às vezes, avançava em silêncio absoluto.
Às vezes, o casco rangia como se estivesse sendo reescrito.
Os animais começaram a sonhar — não com retorno, mas com mutação. Sonhos sem imagens, feitos apenas de sensação: densidade, temperatura, fluxo.

Foi então que o navio percebeu algo novo:
ele já não carregava apenas aqueles que subiram a bordo.
Carregava tudo o que haviam deixado para trás.

Cada memória não resolvida tornava-se peso. Cada apego endurecido criava resistência à água. A Travessia exigia escolhas constantes — não dramáticas, mas silenciosas. O que não se soltava, atrasava. O que atrasava, afundava.

Algumas coisas foram perdidas.
Outras, transformadas.
Nada foi poupado por nostalgia.

Com o tempo, o navio deixou de ser reconhecível como navio. As formas mudaram conforme o mar. À distância, parecia criatura. De perto, parecia processo. Não havia mais centro fixo. Tudo era função do movimento.

A Travessia não apontava para um lugar.
Ela criava condição.

E foi assim que o navio entrou no verdadeiro mar —
não o de água,
mas o de irreversibilidade.

Depois disso, não existia mais “antes”.
Só intensidade.

O que vem a seguir não será retorno, nem chegada.
Será outra coisa.

Algo que não se chama terra.
Algo que não se chama mar.

Mas isso…
só pode nascer depois que a Travessia se completa.

using sound as an instrument to investigate the architecture of awareness.

Each release is approached as a field of inquiry.
This VA continues that trajectory.

The perceiver that exists within the body does not operate at a fixed intensity.
At certain moments it perceives more, and at certain moments less.
Attention fluctuates. Sensory thresholds shift. The depth of reception expands and contracts.

Synesthesia may arise when the perceiver remains in contact with sensory phenomena for extended durations, whether consciously or unconsciously.
In sustained witnessing, the boundaries between modalities begin to loosen. Sound acquires color. Texture suggests movement. Internal imagery responds to vibration.

Through synesthesia, the perceiver gains the ability to learn its own perceptual system,
encountering it as direct experience embodied in sensation and lived observation.

In this collection, you will find seven tracks and one artwork.
Together, they are constructed as extended perceptual environments.
They invite you to remain within the experience longer than usual, to observe what emerges when perception is neither hurried nor interrupted.

These compositions are structured to guide awareness into cross-layered modes of seeing through sound as channel.
A gradual elevation of perception.
A quiet reorganization of sensory hierarchy.

Some day a couple of very intimate friends came along while I was experimenting with a track from Taki Ongoy, the night went along as we discussed the importance of sadness in dance music, of all emotional spectrum, really... But there has always been a poetry in dancing sadness, specially from the culture I come from (los Andes), sadness and folk festivities have always been linked and served a very special purpose: To either mourn our dead or celebrate our little time given on earth... time is a special kind of curse, but still our hearts beat and our spirits sprout 🌱
