Mama's Kitchin is a high energy acoustic string band playing an eclectic blend of original music. Their songs combine root influences of folk, rock, country and are served up in a fresh mix of harmony and using traditional folk instruments with rock songwriting.
Mama's Kitchin is Bill Schultz on guitar, mandolin, banjo, dobro, harmonica and vocals; Mike Sumser on guitar, vocals and fiddle; Keats Gefter on bass, piano and vocals.
The band resides in Frazier Park, Ca., a quirky mountain enclave 50 miles north of Los Angeles.
Mama's Kitchin is currently playing gigs in southern California and preparing for a summer of outdoor festivals which will take them all over the west coast.
