For our September(九月) Tsubaki FM show we invite Paris base DJ and music producer Mido(@mido ).

Mido runs a creative company SENSE and a record label MENACE which focuses on progressive instrumental music and production. Through MENACE, he has released works from artists such as Toshio Matsura 松浦俊夫, Underground Canopy, Enzo Carniel, Antoine Berjeaut, and Hugo LX.  He has also released several vinyl projects with Jazzy Sport and is deeply connected with the music scene in Japan. 

Mido’s 2hour music journey starts with an immersing graceful jazz by Fumio Itabashi, gradually making its way to hiphop and ambient.

This music is rooted in House, built on steady four-on-the-floor rhythms, warm basslines and fluid grooves designed for continuous movement. Modern electronic elements — clean synths, deep chords and subtle arpeggios — are blended with organic textures and natural sounds that feel alive rather than decorative. Percussion breathes, rhythms flow, and space is used intentionally, allowing the music to feel human and grounded instead of mechanical. The sound is contemporary, yet soft and timeless, balancing dancefloor energy with emotional depth.

Concept / Meaning

This music speaks about Gaia as a living presence, not as an idea, but as the ground that sustains and remembers everything. It explores the invisible relationship between the body and the Earth — how movement, rhythm and breath mirror natural cycles. Rather than escaping reality, the music reconnects the listener with where life begins: soil, water, warmth and gravity. It is music about connection, responsibility and quiet power — the Earth moving through us as much as we move upon it.
